He has over 25 years of experience in the design of audio and video facilities for theatrical, broadcast, industrial, and educational television facilities and architectural lighting design services for hotels, amusement parks, arenas, restaurants and various military and government buildings and projects. Prior to forming HMBA he directed facilities design for Imero Fiorentino Associates, Caribiner International, and Jack Morton Worldwide.

Todd W. Berling

Todd Berling is a Principal at Harvey Marshall Berling Associates. He oversees all aspects of the theatre consulting services division, including theater planning and technical systems design provided by the firm. With over (15) years of experience in theater design, Todd has worked on projects throughout the United States, as well as in China, Thailand, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands. Prior to establishing HMBA, Todd was principal consultant for Todd Berling Design, Inc. Todd is also a guest lecturer at the Yale School of Drama, where he teaches Theater Engineering and Technical Systems Design.
