CONSULTANTS FOR ACOUSTICS | COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGIES | THEATER

This Boston landmark opened its doors originally in 1903 featuring a collection that has been frozen in time by the requirements established by Mrs. Gardner in her will. The need for changing exhibitions and a new venue for their renown simulcast Sunday afternoon concerts became the motivation for the expansion designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop. The expansion opened to universal praise in the fall of 2012. Project cost was $118 million.

HMBA provided theater and audio-visual system designs for the project that features a 280 seat recital hall, education center, back ground music throughout the ground floor and digital signage.
