The Speed Art Museum is under construction on Phase I of a $79 million multi-phase renovation and expansion project.  The project includes the addition of

a new North Building and Entry, renovation of the 1927 original Arthur Loomis structure and new state-of-the-art screening room.  The new North Building will include a new multipurpose performance venue, new exhibition space, new spaces for public programs and events, as well as a restaurant, outdoor café and museum store.  The new 150 seat screening room will include 35mm, 16mm and digital video systems. The existing structure will be completed renovated to better serve art enthusiasts and the ever increasing collection.  HMB is serving as the Theater,

AV and Acoustical Consultants for the project.  The project is expected to be completed in 2015.
