HMB served as the Theater, Acoustical and AV technology systems consultants for the Schiff Center project. The new 45,000 square foot building includes a 500 seat proscenium theater, flexible black box theater, theater backstage support spaces (including scene shop, dressing rooms, green room, costume shop), band and choral music classrooms and practice rooms. In addition to providing theater and acoustical consulting design, HMB-A designed the theater technical systems including stage lighting, counterweight stage rigging/drapery systems, audio-video systems and removable orchestra pit filler platforms.
