Belo Center for New Media

The Belo Center for New Media is a new building on the campus of the University of Texas in Austin. It was dedicated in late 2012 and cost $55M.

The building has classrooms, screening rooms, lecture halls, and seminar rooms for the departments of Advertising, Journalism, and the College of Communications.

KUT, the sister radio station to the television station KLRU, is an NPR member station. KUT facilities include four radio production rooms and Studio 1A used for live music performances.

HMBA provided the designs of the acoustics, audio-visual and information technologies for the project.
