HMBA Expands Offices in New York, Cleveland, and Kentucky

HMBA has been busy on the office front lately, all in the interest of better serving our clients and addressing our growing business. All three of our offices, in fact, have news to share…

Giving our regards to Broadway
What better way to celebrate 25 years of serving clients in New York City than moving into brand new space? We’re putting the finishing touches on our new space, located at Broadway and 71 st Street in the heart of the Broadway district. The new location is more convenient for our clients, which have included just about every architect and architectural firm in the City – including NE Add, Skidmore and Stonemill Taylor.

“It’s got a great vibe to it,” said Bill Marshall, an HMBA partner who along with HMBA partner, David Harvey heads up the New York office. “We’re in the midst of a lot of dance studios – you walk out the door to the sounds of music and tap dancing. And we’re right above Fairway (which, to the uninitiated, is the best grocery store in the upper West Side).”

Stop by and see us if you’re ever in the City. The address is 2121 Broadway, Suite 212. Fitting, as 212 is also the New York City area code.

On the hunt in Cleveland
Earlier this year, we opened a new office in Cleveland to accommodate our growing presence there. The office is managed by Raymond Kent, who joined the firm as Principal Design Consultant this past May.

Now, the search is on for a brick-and-mortar location.

“We’re looking for a place that is central for our clients in addition to being welcoming and practical,” said Kent. “We’re architects, so we’re picky. We know space matters, so we want to get it right.”

Our new Kentucky home
We opened our new Kentucky office last year in Ft. Wright, three miles from the heart of downtown Cincinnati in one of the best suburban cities in the entire state.

“Ft. Wright offers all benefits of Cincinnati without the downtown hassles, and our clients really appreciate that,” said Todd Berling, the HMBA partner in charge of the Kentucky office. “We love it here.”
